Join me and my lovely space-mate Athena Moore for a bookmaking skillshare on July 13th! We will demonstrate a couple of books (accordion and origami), with a few optional add-ons. All materials will be provided, but bring anything you’d like to add – collage pieces, markers, stencils, decorative paper, what have you. This workshop is accessible to all age and skill levels, so feel free to bring kids!
1:00-4:00 pm at the Washington Street Art Center, near Union Sq. in Somerville
The afternoon will be structured fairly loosely, so feel free to arrive when you’d like. Immediately following the workshop, Athena and I will be around to show participants our studio and talk more about what we’ve been working on.
The workshop costs $12 and a portion of proceeds will be donated to WSAC.
With great delight, I’d like to share with you The Foldy, “a new, more intimate way to map the world.” They have graciously printed one of my watercolor sketches from Ladakh in the current issue.
If your curiosity is piqued, I highly suggest you subscribe or submit to this smart and imaginative project!
