Wow! What an incredible turn out for the opening. Thank you everyone who came, wanted to come, and plans to do so. I’m around for the next two weeks (before the show comes down on 5/31) and I am more than happy to show you the artwork at any time. If you are far away, stay posted for more pictures.

Edge States: Inner Landscapes Outside

Friends! Please join me for the opening reception of my first show in a long while, Friday, May 16, 7-10 pm, at Washington Street (321D Washington St. Somerville, MA 02143). There will be imbibables, but feel free to BYOB to whatever degree, especially if you plan to celebrate a certain graduation!

If you can’t make it to the opening, do consider stopping by at your leisure, between 12-4 pm, on the following Saturdays: May 17, 24, and 31. (I will be in the gallery on the latter two dates.) There will also be a poetry reading by the lovely Anna Warrock and Lis Weiss on Wednesday, May 28, 7:30 pm. See you there!

Many thanks to everyone who came to open studios last month! Pictured above is my dear friend Mary (right) and me, taken by the talented Ileana; below is a snapshot of the lovely light that graces my space every once in a while.

Now, with even more gratitude, I can continue enjoying this light because the Somerville Arts Council has awarded me a fellowship grant to support my makings and doings. Thanks, SAC! I like you, too. Please stay posted for a community event this spring, likely to coincide with my show in May at Washington St– where there also happens to be some studio space for rent.
